Sheila's Bio
Get to Know Sheila:
- I started quilting about 10 years ago when a friend asked for me to work on a quilt she was making as a gift. I did the ironing and handed pieces to her for sewing.
- Since I was not a "Sewer/Quilter" I continued to quilt with her at the machine and I at the cutting and ironing board. When my friend moved out of state, I continued to quilt alone and made a lot of unfinished quilt tops.
- I heard of someone learning to use a longarm machine and went to investigate. I found this "quilting" to be my favorite part of the process. I most enjoy the creativity of free motion quilting.
- I am please to have the opportunity to learn more techniques from all the quilters who come to Quilted Treasures.
