Get to Know Sharon:
- I retired from the State of Washington after 30 years as a Financial Analysts.
- I have 2 children, daughter and son, 5 grandchildren.
- Creativity has been a part of my life since I was old enough to sit down beside my grandmother‘s rocking chair as she gently taught me how to hold onto a sewing needle, cut blocks out of old clothing to put into quilts and crocheting. I also learned designing and tailoring clothing during my school days.
- I'm a certified longarm quilter; I belong to a free motion embroidery organization called: Machine Embroidery of Oregon and Washington (MEOW) for 17 years.
- My latest passion is digitizing designs for the home embroidery machines. I have another web site for them: www.dsigningthreads.com.
- Participating in classes by international known fiber artists has definitely kept my creative inspiration flowing over the years.
